Crystalize 01:38
Dancing lights Pull you into this Tempting night My fabric holds you close But I don’t want you tonight I just came to tear you down No, I don’t want you tonight I just came to tear you down Shattered pieces crumble Underneath your Feet and Oh! It’s lost. You tell yourself Feelings only last As long as allowed But why then is your past Coming for you tonight It just came to tear you down Just hold on for tonight For it’s come to tear you down

See You 02:54
As the night’s get shorter And the days drag on I find it harder To carry on Because time is cruel And it often seems That despite the work you give The reward you don’t receive Then suddenly you’re blindsided When something comes along And though you can’t explain it You just wanna sing this song I can see you in the morning I can see you in the dark I can see you there beside me I can see you in my heart And if you ever choose to leave me I won’t be torn apart Because time will not forget you I’ll just go back to the start And of course it won’t be perfect And you’ll tend to make mistakes But throughout the harshest tension Your love will never break It does not come free: appreciation understanding, patience But to their toll you must agree So at first you jump for joy At this brand new life you’ve found But then you see it’s always been there And you still just sing aloud I can see you in the morning I can see you in the dark I can see you there beside me I can see you in my heart And if you ever choose to leave me I won’t be torn apart Because time will not forget you I’ll just go back to the start

It was sophomore year When Ava made the decision To talk to her She had never been more smitten By a girl Who had the whole periodic table saved in her head She recalled every bit of data her teachers ever said “Jenny will walk me home tonight?” That’s where it all started Ava didn’t know what to say But Jenny did She could go on for hours about stars and flowers And the reasons why we might live Where do we go now? (Ah ah ah) There’s nowhere but up now (Ah ah ah) We’ll climb it together (Ah ah ah) Flying upwards forever (Ah ah ah) 2 years passed by Jenny never stopped being so lovely Ava never stopped to wonder why She saw a beautiful soul inside a beautiful body Jenny made her flutter, made her not even care That when they walked out in public so many people would glare Oh, Jenny! You’re too good for us Not a star in space or any alien race Could be as gorgeous or as just Only two more months Of this chapter of their lives They’d lived it together And made it all worth the time But Ava starts to worry cause Jenny’s been acting strange She avoids speaking of graduation, tells Ava just to wait 36 hours 8 missed calls Ava visits Jenny’s parents house To find out what’s going on She hears of doctors and testing and survival rates Years and years of treatment, tears, and hope That was the day That Jenny passed away Where do we go now? (Ah ah ah) There’s nowhere but up now (Ah ah ah) We’ll climb it together (Ah ah ah) Flying upwards forever (Ah ah ah)

It’s getting better as the patterns start to fade Heavy eyelids, the devil’s grasp yet form a weight Time will tell; only the earth, erupted from its core Could tear the artist from their dream Could tear the artist down Yesterday’s newspaper mentioned a child who escaped us all An open palm against a mirror or computer screen, fortify what’s held inside Bold rethinking, prevent from sinking, turn that sand to stone Keep us away from familiar fate Let the artist toward their dream Please let the artist get it down Let the artist toward their dream Because the artist knows That it’s getting better
